Rich and I went back to our old Lehi ward today to hear Shaylyn give her farewell talk before she leaves on her mission to Ohio. I was Shaylyn's young women leader 6 years ago. The hardest part about leaving that ward was leaving the young women, we had a great group of girls and Shaylyn was one of my favorites. Before Rich and I even started to have kids, we always said if we had a daughter we hope she turns out like Shaylyn. She's just a great girl, she's smart, pretty, nice to everyone and she has a strong testimony of the gospel. Hearing her speak today strengthened my own testimony. It was just neat to see how she's grown up into this beautiful young women. She's going to make a awesome missionary.Ohio is lucky to have her!
