SCHOOL TIME!

1st day of 1st grade

I thought I was ready for Brooklyn to be back in school, but after I dropped her off at school and went back home the house felt so empty. Her excitement for 1st grade made it easier to let her go, but it doesn't make me feel any better knowing that she's getting older each minute and there's nothing I can do about it. She's growing up too fast for me.

1st day of preschool!

It's finally Weston's turn! He's watched Brooklyn go to preschoool, kindergarten and now 1st grade and he's always felt like he was left behind. He's so excited to go to preschool twice a week, he really looks forward to it.

Every morning the kids run to the window to see the hot air balloons. They think it's the coolest thing. They are going to flip out during the balloon festival in October!

Bath time with Samantha...

Blake decided to give himself a haircut this month. I had to cut it at a short 1. But you can still see where he shaved his head. I had to buzz it again a week later to bring it all to the same length. It's a good thing we didn't have family pictures this month:)

8 years today and counting...

1. I think he's SUPER handsome.
2. He can REALLY make me laugh.
3. He thinks I'm pretty even when I'm fat and pregnant.
4. He would do anything for anyone, he's a good friend to have.
5. Even though he has little time with me and the kids right now, the time he does give us is quality time.
6. I love that he can fix anything, he's really handy.
7. He works hard at whatever he does.
8. He still flirts with me.

10. I love that when the phone rings I still get excited when it's him calling.

4 months

Sami is 4 months old now. I feel like she's been with us a lot longer then that though. She's a sweet little baby, I love her long eyelashes and I love her most when she's just in a diaper. There's nothing cuter then a naked little baby. She's starting to coo and talk now, I love hearing her try to talk. I love how she smiles when she recognizes my voice. Samantha has a cute little cry, when she gets really mad her cry goes to a high pitch and she sounds like a squeeling pig. It's pretty funny. This little girl might be confused of what her name really is, most of the time I call her Samantha but I really like Sami too. Brooklyn sometimes calls her Sam, and Blake calls her "mantha". I love how she cuddles her pink polka dot blanket up to her face and how that can instantly comfort her. She weights 13 pounds 8 ounces now, she's starting to plump up a bit. I think her favorite person to hold her out of the kids is Weston. He REALLY loves her. Weston is always the first person to jump up and help her when she crying. He really looks after his little sister. I love the stage that Sami is at right now, she is starting to develop her personality but she's still little enough that she can't crawl around and get into things. I wish I could freeze time right now because we are having way to much fun with her:)
