Brooklyn got sent to time out today for being mean to Weston. Weston felt bad when he saw her crying in time out so he first brought her a blanket, then a pillow, and then he got a book and started to (pretend) read to her. Pretty sweet huh? Especially since Brooklyn was the one that wasn't being very nice to him. It's amazing how quick kids can forgive. Weston can sure test my patience sometimes, so I love it when I see him do thoughtful things for others. He really does have a tender little heart.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn
Brooklyn had a Butterfly birthday party on Saturday. There have been lots of birthdays parties in our neighborhood lately, so she was excited that it was finally her turn!
I'm so glad we had nice weather on Saturday, I don't know what I would have done if the party was in the house!
Our neighbors Jodi and Troy let us use their bounce house for her party. They are great neighbors and are so nice to our kids. Jodi gave Brooklyn a little purse filled with quarters for her birthday, Brooklyn hasn't decided what she will spend her money on yet. It's a big decision for a little girl.
Last night Rich gave Brooklyn her last birthday present. Brooklyn has always wanted a bath robe like mine. She's always cold in the morning and cold when she gets out of her bath, so she was excited to get her own bathrobe.

My gorgeous sisters!
My sisters had prom last weekend, it's actually called "mormal". In California the proms are aren't known for being wholesome. So the church puts on a tri-stake prom for the kids. My sisters posted these pictures on their blogs, but I had to show off how pretty they look! I NEVER looked that good at my prom!!

Brooklyn's Surprise!
Brooklyn is turning 5 this month, I mentioned to my mom how much she has loved going to Disney on Ice the past couple of years. So my mom sent her a birthday card with the surprise that she would be going for her birthday. Here she is talking to my mom on the phone while opening her birthday card. She was so excited! And Weston even got a ticket too. This is the night before the show, I wanted to tell her sooner but I know she would be asking me everyday ALL day when it was time to go!
My sister Holly also drove up from Idaho with her boys Parker and Joshua, it was really good to see them. Brooklyn also got to bring one friend, so we invited her other cousin Kodi. All the kids brought their mouse ears that they got at DisneyLand. (Good idea Holly)
This was Weston's first time at Disney on Ice, all the kids sat so good through the show. If only they would sit that way during church on Sundays.
