I went to Idaho last weekend for my nephews baby blessing. When I got to my sister's house, my mom told me that just the adults were going out to dinner without the grand-kids. I was really excited after the 4 hour drive with my kids! (They were actually pretty good, Blake was the only one who had a hard time sitting for that long) As we were waiting to get our seats for dinner it felt awkward without my kids there! No chasing Weston around, or telling Brooklyn to stop picking her nose! We had a nice dinner, and my kids had a fun time playing with their cousins.

Visit to Idaho

Yea for you!! I bet that felt so good. I love it when that can happen but at the same time i miss them. I have had to learn to really enjoy my times away from them but enjoy the times together even more. Moms have to have that out and some fun times without feeling like a "mom"
Did you go without Rich? Just a fun weekend with the kids?
