Playing at the park...

My parents and Rich and I took our kids to the park near my parents home. It was fun to take the kids to the park that I went to when I was little. Brooklyn and Weston had a fun time feeding the ducks.

The beach...

Rich and I went to Ventura Beach with my brother and sister Lauren and Steven. My parents had a wedding to go to in San Diego that day, so we spent the day at the beach. We had a fun time, it was a nice day, the sun was out but it was a little cold and windy. The kids had a fun time playing in the sand. It was their first visit to the beach.

Blake stayed in the shade and slept most of the day.

Nephi Welfare Farm

Rich and I took the kids down to the church welfare farm in Nephi this week. Rich LOV ES to farm! Rich's cousin lives on the farm and manages it. So, we went down for a couple days to let the kids play around.The kids got to ride in the tractor while Rich planted hay. The motion of the tractor puts the kids right to sleep. Weston thought the tractor was the coolest thing ever. We stayed in a trailer that the church owns for a couple of nights, the kids loved sleeping on the couch bed. I think they enjoyed doing something different, and not sleeping in their own beds. They were giggling all night, they thought it was fun. One of the horses on the farm just had a baby, so it was fun to see the new baby horse. I took so many pictures; I put them on a slide show below...

Salt Lake Half Marathon

Here we are at the race today. It was a lot of fun. Last year I ran this race and I had just found out I was pregnant with Blake, so I didn't feel too great. So I was happy to have felt good today and not be pregnant.

At the beginning of the race they had a gospel choir singing and dancing, it got everyone motivated! And as always, they hand out tons of free food at the end of the race. Not that I feel like eating, I usually feel like throwing up, but my kids always enjoy the food! I'm glad it's done, now I'm going to keep on training for the Bear Lake marathon in June. Hopefully with all this running, I can get the last 10 pounds of baby weight off!

Jana's wedding!!

My old roomate Jana got married this past weekend. Jana was also my nurse when I delivered Brooklyn. I thought it would have been uncomfortable having my friend see me give birth, but she made my delivery with Brooklyn so great! I couldn't have asked for a better nurse and friend. It was great to catch up with my old roomates at the reception. A few of us were able to travel Europe together when we were young and single! That was such a great summer! We are all so happy for Jana and her new husband Mark. Congratulations!

Brooklyn Anne

Yesterday Brooklyn and I went shopping for spring/summer clothes. She was so excited to wake up this morning and have some new outfits to chose from. It's fun having a little girl to dress up! She wanted to take some pictures and send them to Rich at work.

Blake 3 months old...

I cant believe Blake is 3 months old already! Time goes by so fast. They dont stay newborn for very long at all! Blake is already smiling, and sometimes we can get him to laugh. There is nothing cuter then a little boy with a baseball cap on, I love it! I love the stage he's at right now, I'm enjoying every minute of it.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn!

Brooklyn and I decorated her cake this morning. She got pretty spoiled today getting an Easter basket and a birthday party, she thought it was great. She's been asking me everyday for the past two weeks when we could make her birthday cake and have her party. We had a fun time decorating her cake, I love making birthday cakes. I always look forward to it, Brooklyn loved having all the candy on the cake. CandyLand is one of her favorite games.

Disney on Ice

Brooklyn was so excited to see all of the Disney Princesses, her favorite was Sleeping Beauty!
When Cinderella came out, I looked at her to see the expression on her face. It was priceless! When she saw Cinderella she reached over and held my hand, it was pretty sweet.
When we left the show, she said "That sure was fun mom, lets watch it again!".

Brooklyn and her friend Kylee are just one week apart in age, they both got to do this for their birthdays.

Red High Heels

Brooklyn loves to put on my high heels and walk around on the tile. It's pretty cute! Weston does the same thing, but we dont encourge it!

Blakes Blessing Day

We had lots of friends and family come for Blakes blessing. My family from California was there, my grandpa and grandpa Evans, my sisters from Idaho. My Uncle James and Aunt Gen, all of Rich's family was there. It was nice of everyone to come for this special day for Blake.

Snowboarding in Park City

Rich and I went snowboarding up in Park City with our friends Crystal and Jason for my birthday. It was a lot of fun! I'm really sore today!

After snowboarding we got some chocolate carmel apples dipped in snickers at the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory. They were soo good! I thought we were going home after snowboarding but then my friends suprised me and took me to Tepanyaki restaurant for some Japanese food. It was really good!
